How commissions work
Aloft builds envelopes to order. An enquiry submitted through the site is not an automated purchase — the flight desk replies with current lead times and pricing for the model you’re asking about, and a deposit and build contract are arranged directly before work begins.
Lead times
Published lead times are our current build-slot estimate for that model and may shift with order volume. Special Shape commissions are quoted individually and are not covered by the standard catalogue lead time.
Airworthiness
Every envelope we build is delivered with full inspection and rigging documentation. Registration, insurance, and pilot certification are the owner’s or operator’s responsibility under the regulations of the country of operation.
Ownership of design
Catalogue patterns and livery designs remain Aloft’s property; a commission conveys the finished envelope, not manufacturing or pattern rights, unless agreed separately in writing.
